Much more colourful than I imagined.

That reminds me that I have a dust mite plush toy: http://www.giantmicrobes.com/us/products/dustmite.html It’s not colourful at all. 😦

Delighted to hear that, Srikanth Ranganathan .

Maybe pollen in the upper right? Wow, and is that a collection of rbc’s, maybe a sloughed scab, or maybe squamous epithelium in the lower right? I’m tending to think it’s a scab because squamous epithelium (skin) would be a little flatter and maybe not have that toroidal look. The rest must be fibrous nylon and the like, but what’s that in the upper left, looking like a sea monster?

  5. uh-oh… Just a short while ago I ate a chocolate after it had fallen onto the carpet πŸ˜‰

  6. J Stasko is not the only one wondering: just wth is that in the upper left, Rajini Rao?

Did you follow the scientifically sound 5 second rule, Marc Ponomareff ? πŸ˜‰ I’m guessing pollen or some sort of plant spore. I don’t know of a microbe that looks like that.

  8. Rules be damned, Rajini Rao, we’re talking about chocolate here..

It’s art, Jim Knyght ! That’s your excuse to stop dusting around the house. Who would destroy something so beautiful πŸ™‚
