You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you’re in starts playing different tunes
I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.”

The scientific process may not be good for a movie, but it sure would make a great reality show.
Making a case for the disenfranchised.

Political discussion list on Google+ (please share)
I’ve been trying to think of a way to use Google+ for engaging in political discussions with people in the Google+ community without annoying people in my circles who aren’t interested.
To do this I am borrowing an idea from Daniel Simons and have created a public Google Doc – “Politicophiles on Google+”
Here’s the link:
The idea is that if you are interested in political discourse on Google+, you add your name and Google+ profile URL and any other information about yourself that you want. If you want to hear the political thoughts and news from someone on the list, follow them. If they want to hear from you, they’ll follow you.
A point of etiquette: If someone you don’t know follows you and they are on the list please only share political stuff with them.
Please feel free to share this with others.
Whither our priorities? “Economist Doug Henwood points out that it would be quite easy to make higher education completely free. In the U.S., it accounts for less than 2 percent of gross domestic product. The personal share of about 1 percent of gross domestic product is a third of the income of the richest 10,000 households. That’s the same as three months of Pentagon spending. It’s less than four months of wasted administrative costs of the privatized healthcare system, which is an international scandal.”
Heat sensing TRPV1 ion channel detects infrared radiation and is used by blood sucking vampire bats (Humans use it to feel heat)..very cool work from David Julius, who is supposedly on the Nobel shortlist as co-discoverer of TRP channels.
“I’m worried this season of Jersey Shore will be less embarrassing to America than our Government”.
“I’d be worried about a double dip recession if I didn’t lose all my money on the first one”
Thank you Google for the Lucy tribute 🙂
