I honestly can’t +1 this enough. Simply beautiful.

Chris Cannova , I feel that way too!

Interesting sentiments in there. My favorite definition of cancer, if I remember it correctly, is “uncontrolled cells working to the organism’s detriment.”

  4. Rajini Rao says:

Sure, J Stasko , cancer is the unregulated division and metastasis (migration) of cells.

  5. I enjoyed it, but can’t resist weighing in with some linguistic nit-picking: I prefer my symphonies “orchestrated” not choreographed.Beware the creationists who will seize on any opportunity.

It is as life-changing as it is the notorious “Powers of Ten” universe zoom-out scene 🙂

  7. Rajini Rao says:

I like that zoom-out universe depiction too!

A lot more people should see both that scene and this vid, just to understand how big of a miracle we all are. They should show them both in schools and universities regularly 🙂

Rajini Rao Sice when did you move from classic rock into celllular biological music? this reshare is nice and I like it. The passage uses some nice futuristic new wave synthesizer in the mold of Kitaro, Tomita and Deodato style of keyboarding techniques. Kudos to both you and Derya Unutmaz for this post.

  10. Wow, How impressive, how I which we had these video clips when I was at school and studying biology it would have made the work come alive.

Amazing. Enjoyed it thoroughly, Ranjini. Thank you for sharing. Regards.
