I loved this – very clever.
I know of a very talented rock musician who wrote many of his songs by just hunt and peck on the piano. When he found a sound (chord) that he liked, he would keep his fingers in that position and create a cardboard cutout to match his finger positions. Then he’d file those cutouts in the order of the song and put them in a file labeled with the song title. lol
That sounds like something I would do, Stephen Greeley ! When I see a keyboard, I just see physical patterns and I ask musicians dumb questions like how do you know which key to hit..of course, they can hear the note and know instinctively 😀 Oh well, luckily, one can be musically incompetent and still appreciate genius in others.
I haven’t seen anything like that since the days of Victor Borge. You have seen Victor Borge, haven’t you?
