Crowd Fund a Biological Computer

Crowd Fund a Biological Computer

Please consider helping our G+ colleague, Gerd Moe-Behrens crowd fund CytoComp and win a Stanford University competition. He’ll be happy to tell you all about Bitcoins too.

Crowd Funding CytoComp

CytoComp is a revolutionary biological computer. Gerd Moe-Behrens is seeking YOUR help to fund this project. For details, see:  http://cytocomp-bitstarter-mooc.herokuapp.com

Help CytoComp win: The crowd funder page for CytoComp is participating in a competition arranged by Stanford University. So far is CytoComp among the Top10Social (number of Tweets), more specific on 3rd place 3 in a class which started with 100 000 people. see the leader board http://startupmooc.org The winner will get additional support from Stanford Univ. for the project.

Made by MOOC: This page was build in the frame of Stanford University MOOC class, Startup Engineering by Balaji S. Srinivasan, Vijay S. Pande https://www.coursera.org/course/startup “Learn the engineering skills needed to build a technology startup from the ground up.” Gerd  built and coded this crowd funding page from the ground up. This is a particularly important approach, as genetically engineered organisms are now banned by Kickstarter. As government funds become less generous, this approach might be interesting for many. Contact Gerd Moe-Behrens to find out how to do this.

Please share and help our fellow G plusser succeed in this innovative project!

  1. Thanks so much Rajini Rao  I will be happy to answer questions. Please go the page http://cytocomp-bitstarter-mooc.herokuapp.com and press the tweet button (maybe behind the +). If you do not have Bitcoins and this is new for you you will find some great links to learn bait more about this currency of the future. Why not give it a try and buy Bitcoin for $1 and donate it to our project. You will learn about an exiting currency and help us a lot. A total donation of $14 will help CytoComp to become one of the top 10 funded and only $ 252 to be No 1. This is such a small contribution for everybody, but means a lot for the project. The team with the most Tweets and Bitcoins will get special help from Stanford to go further with the project. I am really exited about biological computing and about all the possibilities it have to improve our life and health. I just wrote a review: The biological microprocessor, or how to build a computer with biological parts http://journals.sfu.ca/rncsb/index.php/csbj/article/view/csbj.201304003 I published this open access to make it available for everybody for free. I have founded all so far with my savings including the free review. Thus it would be great to get some help. As said a donation of totally $ 252 would already make a big difference. I really hope somebody has some bit coins to spend or is willing to try something new and learn about a new valuta. Coinbase is great to get started with bitcoins https://coinbase.com It is very easy to sign up. They just ask you for a user name and email.  For US citizens coin base make it very easy to connect a bank account http://blog.coinbase.com/post/55203204550/instant-bitcoin-purchases-at-coinbas The verification can take several days. Thus please be quick. A brief 2 min introduction to bit coins can be found here https://www.weusecoins.com/en/ I really hope you can help me. It means so much to me. Thanks in advance.

BTW there are awesome rewards e.g.: For 1 Bitcoin or more

all above and exclusive early developer access to CytoComp`s CAD (computer assisted design platform, which allows you to custom design a biological microprocessor). Although the software will be made open source by August 2014, CytoComp will give developers an exclusive opportunity to be part of this revolution, and to be early on the market with their apps. estimated delivery: Dec 31st 2013

Obs! Limited to max 100 orders. This opportunity only exists until 100 BTC`s are reached!
