Only in the Sixties could you see hippies playing country music.

If country music sounds like this, then that’s fine by me πŸ™‚ If we bring back the hippies, will we get their music too?

  3. Yes yes yes……smiling and waving from Mumbai

Hey, Kershaw Rustomji , enjoy a cup of chai and nankatai (do they still have those delicious pistachio/cardamom cookies?) for me!

  5. Yes they do….I will do that…will go to one of those cafes soon …thanks for the music. I miss being here but having some time off at home :))

Classic CCR indeed. Love this song as well as most other CCR songs. Bayou beats bring back lots of memories. Thanks for sharing Rajini Rao

Have to make up for the dry spell from last Friday πŸ˜‰

  10. I am unsure whether the leather trousered look fits the music :-).

I grew up in an English house incongruously filled to the brim with country music, This is very nostalgic, thanks Rajini Rao

Mike McLoughlin , in that case you will appreciate that I chose not to link to the colored version of this video in which the red leather pants clashed with the red leather couch! The combination offended my fashion sense, although John Fogerty does not πŸ™‚

Cool to hear the old sounds once in a while. A very solid, but not flashy drummer. He was great for their style of music. One of the bands I was in played a song from CCR.
