Ladies and Gentlemen, once again, The Doors! Some questions to ponder….
1) Hey, is that belt back in fashion?
2) Why does Robby Krieger have a black eye (1:40) ?
3) Who cares if Jim Morrison shakes that rattle?
For all classic rock fans, including Tom Lee, enjoy π
Rajini Rao Love this song. Volume’s up now. Morrison’s eyes look sharp like an edge of a knife. I think he likes to wear that belt, different color at times when on stage. The belt makes Morrison Morrison. He’s totally cool. Doors’ sound can be recognized instantly with that distinctive organ sounds. Thanks for the post!
Jim was always one of the sexiest men alive
Good to hear that the guys like this one too. And that it’s not considered too mushy to be cool π What was with the poetry reading at the beginning..strange and beautiful, just like Jim Morrison.
It’s really good but not as good as “The End” or “The Crystal Ship” and yes I am willing to start a fight over that. π
Rajini Rao it’s just some of Jim’s magic. Check out “American Prayer” and “The Lost Paris Tapes” for more poetry. I think there is a book of Jim Morrison Poetry but I love his voice and tempo and wouldn’t want to hear his words any other way.
Sy Bernot , I know just what you mean..have you heard the amazing Celebration of the Lizard? Morrison reads out the verses for most part, over 15 min…it’s quite epic.
I’ll wager that Krieger became involved in a brawl (instigated by Morrison) between the string- and horn-sections during rehearsal.
Marc Ponomareff , most certainly a brawl. Over what, is the question? Although, one can probably hazard a guess π
Rajini Rao And guess who was born on Jim Morrison’s last birthday? Jep, this guy.
Marian Wirth , we have an incarnation! Do you have the belt?
Rajini Rao Haha, no need to hype me as an incarnation. A simple “Happy Birthday!” does it.
