Thank you, Konstantin Makov , for finding the perfect song for Veterans Day. The armistice that stopped hostilities of World War I went into effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.

Some day you’ll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you’ll no longer burn
To be brothers in arms

On YouTube there many versions of song , may be with better quality,
but I choose this version because it seems to me the most sincere
and true-hearted.

Congratulations with Veterans Day. Hello,Raijini.
Hello Konstantin Makov , thanks for the post and keep them coming 🙂
What can I say when they have both Clapton and Knopfler together on stage with that special electric guitar sound. I don’t think anybody can challenge these two great musicians’ playing style and skills.
Agree! The lyrics and Knopfler’s delivery are especially poignant, too.
Will tag one to you for this veterans appreciation day. Stay tuned!
Rajini Rao check out my veterans day music! 🙂
