What does 7 billion look like?

What does 7 billion look like? This captivating video by National Geographic perfectly captures the point that it is not the physical number of people (we could all fit shoulder to shoulder inside Los Angeles), but the consumption and unequal distribution of resources that is a problem.

What an excellent Prezi! Thanks for sharing it, Rajini Rao . And bravo to National Geographic for doing this as a year long series.

Key take away for me in that, was that 70% of the possible 9 billion future people will likely live in cities. We need really smart cities. A slight aside, IBM is doing very interesting work in this regard, with their Smart Cities program.
