Picturing the president of the United States as a corpse is a powerful statement and reprehensible in most respects. But since it reflects a wish that is rarely voiced in mixed company – but which is alive and well in a particular American subculture – I’m not sure that I want to shake my finger at News Corpse (at least, without knowing a lot more about them). They are articulating something that is already poisoning our society – our country, long before this.
News Corpse looks like another version of the Onion, i.e. pokes fun at the media (particularly Fox News). This post is pretty funny..fake quotes from Presidential hopefuls on the earthquake.
