The violin performance is indeed beautiful. But I must say that the beats going on in the background is really really annoying….

He specializes in crossing genres, Rakesh Yadav . So you know he is going to be different at the outset. Here is how he handles another classic πŸ˜‰ David Garrett – The Fifth [Official]

I like his version of Led Zep’s Kashmir.

Okay I checked out his version of kashmir — pretty awesome!

I guess I found the beat alteration not soothing because I have listened and cherished the original AIR by JSB…. πŸ™‚

True, classics are classical for a reason πŸ™‚

Beautiful. I love Bach classical music. Bach music leans more towards church music. It is a great to feel peace in your mind. How about Jesu, Joy Of Man’s Desiring on your next post ?

  6. Unknown's avatar Rajini Rao says:

Tom Lee , do you have a link for it?

  7. Unknown's avatar Tom Lee says:

Rajini Rao , almost all Johann Sebastian Bach music were arranged for keyboards. Because they are basically church music so you can find most of the video clips on YT are performed on key board and church organs. I love Bach and Listz (mostly Vienna waltz) classicals. Here are some:

Bach: Cantata, BWV 147, Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring

Alon Goldstein performs Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring

    J. S. Bach – “Jesus bleibet meine Freude” BWV 147

    Thanks, Tom Lee .

    He is really amazing.

Exquisite!!! He is the future and I am glad!!! More young people should hear him…he makes Bach look & sound “cool”. Juilliard should be proud of their alumnus!! Thanks, Rajini Rao!

Mary Owens , that’s what he does best..bringing the violin to a different generation and reaching to new audiences. His rock star personality draws in the AC/DC group (my son was listening to his cover of Thunderstruck , that’s how I found him). Classical enthusiasts may not like what he does, but it’s one way of keeping the old masters alive.

  12. Unknown's avatar Mary W. says:

I am glad he is the vanguard for the future of classical music! Change can be difficult for the “hard-liners” but what is more important is that the appreciation of this amazing music is not lost!!! Glad your son loves it! He is lucky his momma is pretty cool to alternative genre of classical music too :-). Thanks, again, for the share!!!

Oh wow, I β™₯ Pachelbel’s Canon and have not heard this one from the cool dudes at The Piano Guys. Checking it out..

  14. Unknown's avatar Rajini Rao says:

Hahaha, awesome piece by The Piano Guys, loved the story behind it. Did get notified on the Cheap Flights vid too πŸ™‚ Thanks for cheering me up, Feisal Kamil πŸ˜€

  15. Unknown's avatar Rajini Rao says:

I give you this, Feisal Kamil , for another madcap version of Pachelbel Canon: Electric Violin and Beatbox: The Devil Canon

I β™₯ Jason Yang, in case you have not caught my earlier posts on his irreverent music. Mary Owens may like Jason Yang too.

Sorry for the late reply. I am just catching up on things. Getting off work tonight (10:30pm MST) from spending 5 1/2 hours in a hospital ER with a traumatized, emotional family who’s elderly father fell and fractured his nose & possible hip AS we were trying to get him placed in an assisted living facility!! Thus, listening to any classical music accompanied with a glass of wine sounds really nice.

    Sorry…hope I don’t come off complaining…after re-reading my previous comment, I guess I could have reined it in a bit…just fatigued.

  18. Unknown's avatar Rajini Rao says:

Thank you for your service, Mary Owens ..you’ve earned the right to complain anytime, although I didn’t think you did that at all. Relax and enjoy the music for a few moments, sistah! πŸ™‚

Thank you Rajini Rao for your kind & supportive words & Feisal Kamil for the + “amen”. It is deeply appreciated :-).
